Workbox Wednesday

Since it has been Summertime and we have been so busy, we are not doing anything too exciting.  July brings Daddy's Birthday, Mommy's Birthday, Kayley's Birthday, The Butterfly Festival, and Zoo School.  So, we have spent the last few weeks enjoying "Slow Summer School."  We have been working on some areas that are weak and enjoying some special science activities.

We are working K5 to 1st grade summer bridge activities.

Today in our workbox we have a continuation of our Obedience lessons from Character Concepts for Preschoolers by The Learning Parent.  This has been a great curriculum to learn appropriate behavior and character traits!

Nature journal.  We have 3 interesting fossil rocks to journal about!

Reading from BOB books Word Families to gain confidence in our reading.  We love BOB books!

Handwriting practice from leftover K5 BJU.
Just to keep our handwriting fresh...

Our Math activities are from Carson-Dellosa Publishing.
They are a great way to do math while playing!

We are also learning Primary Hymns in preparation for our Primary Program in October!

I think that is it for today!  :)

See what everyone else is up to this week over at Adventures in Home Education:

  1. You're such a great mother and home school mom!! I want to be just like you. :) I wish that I could just find great easy and FORDABLE products out there that would work for Amelia. She isn't supposed to start K till Fall 2012 so we sill have some time, but still! I just wish I was a bit more on the ball like you. I wish we were close so I could pick your brain and see these things up close to go through them...
