UP!

Princess Soup
When I was a kid, I always had this desire to eat the special soup. You know...the kind that had shapes of cartoon characters and so forth. I knew that it was just plain old chicken noodle...and you paid a whole lot more money for the funny shapes. But, I secretly wanted it anyway.
So, I bet you can guess where this is going? There we were, in the grocery store...and Kayley spied, Disney Princess soup. At first I said, "no way"...and then I decided... "you know, why not?" So...Kayley got Princess soup...and she really liked it. It was way better than regular chicken noodle soup apparently. I even went so far as to cut off the label so she could compare her noodles with the noodle chart...
Sigh...what can I say? I'm a softie.

Sensational Summer Science Camp

I worried about Kayley staying so long at preschool, so I came by an hour early yesterday (right before lunchtime) to make sure things were going ok. She was basically, "Hi Mommy...Go Away Mommy, we are not done yet." Whew...Apparently I was the only one worried.
Wednesday's are "Water Fun Day" and the kids wear swimsuits and play in sprinklers...Here is Kayley in her stylish new swimsuit. I thought it was awfully cute and had good coverage to discourage sunburning...

From the Heart - Cheryl St. John
I am excited to share that we are featured on Cheryl St. John's Blog - From the Heart! I submitted our story to her Readers Corner feature and we are on there today! You can find a link to her blog to the right hand side. Cheryl is one of my favorite authors, writing mostly historical romance.
About Cheryl St.John: She is the author of thirty-five books. She has been nominated for RWA’s RITA for Best First Book, by Romantic Times for Best Western Historical, and by Affaire de Coeur readers as Best American Historical Romance. LAND OF DREAMS, THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, and PRAIRIE WIFE each won Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Awards.
Many of her Special Editions made Waldenbooks Top Ten and the BIG SKY BRIDES anthology climbed to #35 on the NYT list.
Look for her Love Inspired Historical "The Preachers Wife" coming out in June!!!
I can hardly wait!

Fishy Dress
Ok, first of all...Kayley is a doll. So when I have such a cute subject to work with I usually end up getting good pics. In other news, the iPhoto software on my new Mac is awesome! Look at what I could do with these photos! I touched up the first 2 while playing around with my new software, the others I left alone. They turned out so good!

Did You Miss Me?
Did you miss me? Our computer crashed and burned on Wednesday. We took it in to Geek Squad and they just shook their heads sadly. After observing a moment of reverent silence, James and I walked over and bought a new computer. We bought a Mac. I am pulling my hair out trying to get used to it but it will be awesome once I find a "Mac for Dummies" or an "Apple for Idiots" guide.
I have Kristen M. to thank for her insistence that "Once we go Mac - We'd never go back."
You'd better be right Kristen because I'm going nuts!
Oh, the good news though... I felt prompted to back up all my photos on Tuesday to an external hard drive and didn't lose a single digital picture (and several other documents too). Whew!

The Potty Chart...
A Pirate....
So we heard this joke...about a pirate who had a "bounty" on his head... Kayley likes pirates and has a fun time making a hook with her hand and saying..."Arrrr! There's a Bounty on Me head!" Enjoy...
