Jefferson Avenue Foot Bridge

Kayley and Maggie are interested in trains and they had been wanting to go down to the Jefferson Avenue Foot Bridge off of Commercial Street for a while.  This bridge is over a hundred years old and provides a way for pedestrians to cross several sets of train tracks!  It is unfortunate that Commercial Street is a not-very-good part of town, so I hadn't taken them there yet on my own.  So, we took advantage of Gramma and Papa being here and went down and took a walk over the foot bridge.  It was chilly and a little windy up there, but it was very interesting!  No trains came through while we were on the bridge and we waited quite a while hoping.  Maybe next time?
