Pretzelmaker

When we went to the mall last week we stopped to get a pretzel while we waited. They were in the process of making them and Kayley was really interested in how the guy just threw the dough up in the air and it landed as a pretzel! So, he cut off a piece of dough and walked Kayley through the pretzel making process! Isn't that awesome?

O' Pioneer!

Tonights FHE was in celebration of Pioneer Day on July 24th. Daddy was so clever we even had a 'Conestoga' on our pioneer trek. Kayley went all out and put on her best pioneer frock. We discussed what it was like to be a pioneer, we learned the song "Pioneer Children Sang as they Walked", and we enjoyed a dinner of pioneer flapjacks and salt pork (ie. pancakes and bacon!)
