Shillelagh- a knotty wood club or walking stick passed down through family.
Claddagh Rings-rings exchanged by friends and sweethearts. Heart = love. Hands = faith and friendship. Crown = loyalty.
We added pictures of these to our "St. Patrick's Day Symbols" tab.
We read: The St. Patricks Day Shillelagh by Janet Nolan, Brigid's Cloack by Bryce Milligan and Finn McCool and the Giant Fish by Eve Bunting.
